Trip to the Emily Carr House
and Museum of Greater Victoria - August 3

A group will gather at the Coho waiting room by 8:00 a.m. to travel to Victoria BC for a tour of the Emily Carr House and a presentation about Victoria’s famous plein air painter by Jan Ross, ECH curator.
Emily Carr was the only female member of the famous Canadian Seven – a group of internationally known painters who strove to develop and celebrate an artistic style and tradition for Canadian art. After lunch on their own, group members will have a private docent-led tour of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria’s new exhibit Picturing the Giants/Changing Landscapes of Emily Carr.
